Dubai, 13 January 2022 – CALMS Technologies, a smart card and ID solution provider and HID Global, a worldwide leader in trusted identity solutions, formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to enter a strategic partnership aimed at further expansion of their footprints in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The MOU exchange was witnessed by YB Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima TPr. Haji Annuar bin Musa, Minister of Communications and Multimedia, during the Digital Economy Week networking dinner on 12 January organized by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC®) in conjunction with the Expo 2020 Dubai.

Solutions from CALMS Technologies and HID Global are commercially available in most ASEAN markets. Such solutions use proven technologies and clientele that help transform various industries through the collaborated service.

The collaboration between CALMS Technologies and HID Global will allow new and existing combined expertise to approach multiple industries in the automation, contactless and digital environments within the UAE market. The partnership will enable both companies to continue commercial expansion and to provide more resilient technologies in credentials, smart card, and ID issuance, all of which will help customers improve safety and security.
