Welcome to the CALMS Versa mobile application ("the App"), operated by CALMS Technologies Sdn Bhd ("we," "us," or "our"). • Client: Organizations employing our patrol management system.

3. Use License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms. You are prohibited from:

• Modifying, adapting, or creating derivative works of the App.
• Removing or altering any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App.
• Using the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

4. Location and Device Permissions

To function effectively, the App requires access to:

• GPS location services for real-time tracking during patrols.
• Camera functionality for documenting incidents.
• Device storage for saving reports and related files.
• Network connectivity for synchronizing data with our servers.

5. Data Collection and Privacy

We collect and process the following data:

• Real-time location information during patrol duties.
• Checkpoint scanning records.
• Incident reports, including text and photos.
• User authentication details.

All data handling adheres to applicable privacy laws and is detailed in our Privacy Policy, which you should review.

6. User Responsibilities

As a User, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information when using the App.
• Safeguard the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Immediately report any unauthorized access to your account.
• Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and client policies.

7. Service Availability

We aim to provide continuous access to the App 24/7 but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue features without prior notice.
• Conduct maintenance or updates as necessary.
• Release App updates to improve functionality or security.

8. Intellectual Property

All elements of the App, including but not limited to:

• Source code and software architecture.
• Databases and content structure.
• Visual design, logos, and trademarks.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Failures of hardware, networks, or third-party systems.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App, without prior notice, if you:

• Breach these Terms.
• Misuse the App or engage in prohibited activities.
• Act in a manner that compromises the App’s integrity or security.
• At the request of a Client.

Upon termination, your license to use the App will cease immediately.

We may revise these Terms at our discretion. Changes will be effective upon posting the updated Terms within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App following such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
